Great Achievement by Pritam Basu

We are honored and proud to share this news with all that one of our Utsab member's (Pritam Basu) novel has been included in the syllabus of Visva-Bharati University's Bengali department's curriculum. For those of you who are aware of the rest of the  Bengali novels listed in that category, seeing "Chouthupir Charyapad" in the same list is a HUGE ACCOLADE.

Pritam Basu made us proud again.

By sharing this news, we remember and celebrate his contributions to modern Bengali literature and recognize the celebrity like Pritam Basu lives around us! Please extend your wishes to Pritam Basu when you see him in the upcoming events.

Pritam Basu's Fiction Novels are best sellers in Kolkata and those are available in Amazon.

Utsab members at Interfaith Art show (5th to 7th May’24)

In honor of the closing of the Interfaith Sanctuary, a three-day Art show event was organized by The Albert Interfaith Community at the Saint Rose Interfaith Sanctuary, 959 Madison Ave, Albany, NY 12202 from May 5th – 7th, 2024. Our Senior Utsab member Dr. Mukti H. Sarma is a member of the Sidney and Beatrice Albert Interfaith Lectureship Board who took leadership to showcase the artwork created by Utsab members (Madhuja Mukhopadhyay, Soma De, Monica Das and Sunita Panda). Also participating in this endeavor was Gouri Mehta of our Hindu community. She also took part in the panel discussion “What Does Divinity Mean to Me?” It is our great pleasure to support Interfaith Dialogue in the Capital District of New York through such events/programs that educate students, especially students and members of the public about religion; promote peace, harmony, and religious acceptance in the community.
